This page is used to catalog various enemies that were unused from the final version of Deltarune.

Just a test enemy. Their "sprite" is of Rudinn, although their sprite is animated with sprite parts instead of being frame-by-frame. The Chapter 2 version has ACTs seemingly from Sweet Cap'n Cakes, but most actions freeze the game due to the enemy's string data being removed.

Clover (unused)[]
Clover also has an unused variant with unique dialogue. This Clover is encountered alongside a Hathy, has partially available ACT choices (selected through chance), and also checks for the presence of certain party members (Susie and Ralsei) to modify response text. These differences suggest that Clover was originally meant to be an regular enemy early in development that would be fought multiple times, instead of being a miniboss that is fought only once.

Pippins (unused)[]
Pippins was a dice-themed enemy meant for Chapter 1; however, Toby Fox found their bullet patterns "not fun" and so he cut them.[1] A Pippins standing in the Party Dojo alludes to this in Chapter 2, saying "Looks like fighting wasn't in the cards for us."
A different version of the Pippins enemy became fightable in Chapter 3.
Their name starts with the word "pip"; a pip is the denomination referring to the dots on a die or a domino.

DoomTank was an early version of the Thrash Machine. Susie would stand in it and attack the player, but this was too difficult to program, so the antagonists blew up the machine and fought normally.[2]
