There is no such thing as a "Southern British accent". A person from England is English. People from South England have a Southern English accent. You wouldn't call someone from the US "English", therefore there's no distinction necessary.

^^ thank you for the detailed explanation

Feel free to change it to that. My reason for saying this is to add a distinction because one was neccessary. While you're correct that you wouldn't call an American "English", you're wrong in assuming that we don't speak a language called "English". We don't speak American. My purpose for adding that distinction was to ensure that it wasn't mistaken by other users that Ramb speaks with, say, an Arkansas accent."Southern English Accent" can double, meaning either the American South, or the British South. That's why it needed to be distinct. That being said, I have no issue with changing it to "South London Accent", and wouldn't even mind it if it were "British Southern English Accent". Just so long as the distinction is there to prevent misidentification, I don't mind which it's called. Ya Boi King Kai (10/24/2025)
