- During Hammer of Justice Battle, Gerson mentioned how in Chapter 4 of Lord of the Hammer that "The great smith gives the heroes a terrible weapon" which parallels how the Justice Axe is the only superboss reward that lacks a second effect (as mentioned in its description).
- This also correlates to how Gerson was once a smith before becoming an author.
- Justice Axe (and technically the Black Shard before Chapter 4) are the only superboss rewards without a second effect.
- For the Black Shard, this status is only temporary, since it gains SlayDark in Chapter 4.
