Top Chef
'Spinning Top' Chef is a Darkner and minor NPC that the party encounters during their travels in the Dark World.
Top Chef has a broad-shouldered yellow body and wears a pale yellow apron and toque. They have thick eyebrows and a twirly mustache, and yellow eyes with dark sclera. True to their name, Top Chef is a chef who resembles a children's toy top, in particular their head and toque, or chef's hat. When speaking, they will vigorously spin back and forth.
Top Chef is first encountered by Kris and Ralsei in the Field as they search for Susie. If talked to, they will tell the party about a monster who appeared suddenly and destroyed their cake (Susie).
An option to pick up a cake piece is available after inspecting the cake. It can then be brought to the smith Malius who will repair it, making the Top Cake. Afterwards, bringing the Top Cake back to Top Chef will make them reward the party with a Spin Cake, which they will replace on request, if consumed or dropped.
