Hometown

I have a theory that (if we do get a chapter dedicated to the Light World) there will be a combat system like in the Dark Worlds! Otherwise, why else would Kris have stats outside of them? What's more, we've got a lot of Lightners that seem to have some significance that don't seem to be in the position to become Dark World companions. Maybe they could be Party Members in the Light World instead!

Of course, I'm not sure how attacks would work considering how magic seemingly doesn't exist in the Light World, but as shown in K. Round, Rouxl Kaard, and Giga Queen's boss fights, not all enemy combat has to be magically tied.

Besides, Toby has to keep us from getting bored SOMEHOW

In Hometown, if you interact with Mad Dummy's house and say you're looking for someone else, you can talk to Mettaton. (I think? It's hard to tell from just dialogue) He asks you to bring something entertaining by tomorrow, is there an item in particular that he wants?

By tomorrow, does it mean before tomorrow or during tomorrow, and tomorrow as in the next chapter, or the next real day?

Dialouge:

"Well, if you are a fan. Haha. Could I bother you for a favor?"

"Since the internet went down, I haven't had much..."

"Entertainment."

"If you have anything entertaining, darling..."

"Could you bring it by to me tomorrow?"

"It would mean the world to me. Thank you."

Three pieces of evidence:

1. As this Wiki says, Noelle, Dess and Rudy existed in the Undertale universe. Sans says, "the antelered girl and her big sis," suggesting, again, as the Wiki puts it, that Dess did not have antlers. This says something about Mayor Holiday as well, because, by inheritance, if both her mum AND dad have antlers, she should have them too. Rudy has antlers, so Mayor Holiday likely doesn't.

2. Rudy claims that Noelle's mum slapped him. This might be getting too deep into technicalities, but is 'slapping' a possible action with hooves?

3. Diamond Boy in Sans' shop mentions the 'hooved girl.' Again, as though no-one else matches the description. I'm sure no-one else would call the mayor a 'hooved girl' even if she did have hooves, but it would still be confusing if he used that term while a well-known female Hometown citizen had hooves. And although Dess is missing right now (but still alive, I'm sure), it would be odd to use that term if someone else known with that description - the mayor's daughter - recently lived there.

So, in the first chapter, there's a way to bring Asgore's flowers to Toriel, right? And in chapter 2, you can give the chocolates to Alphys. My prediction is that every chapter from now on, or at least every chapter that lets you have some time to roam around Hometown (which will probably be most of them), will have some sort of optional sidequest in Hometown that includes giving an item to a character. Chapter 3's could be bringing something entertaining to 'Nobody,' or that could be something seperate. Since the previous 2 have been related to the relationship between two characters, with Asgore still having feelings for Toriel, and Undyne and Alphys possibly forming a mutual crush, my guess is that some of the future sidequests will also be focused on the friendship, romance or general relationship between different Hometown residents. Maybe you'll be able to help Bratty and Catty become better friends, for example? This would also tie in to the fact that so far, pretty much everything in Hometown that seems to have some sort of effect, such as the sidequests and talking to Onionsan or 'Nobody,' involves the returning characters from Undertale. Coupling that with the fact the the game seems to be moving towards making returning characters' relationships similar to the way they are in Undertale, such as with Undyne and Alphys, it wouldn't surprise me to see Bratty and Catty becoming besties, or at least full-fledged friends, by the last chapter. And maybe a future sidequest could play a hand in that! That's just my two cents on the whole thing, and I'd love to hear y'all's thoughts!

Ok i know i just posted but i've been thinking about this for a while. i think i have an answer to the age-old question “Who is Everyman?”

First, if you don’t know who Everyman is he/they/it is a character that appears as an attack for the amalgamate “Reaper Bird” in Undertale and an easter egg in multiple places in Deltarune (as well as an inclusion in the official Undertale art book). There has been lots of speculation about who Everyman really is, since many people consider him an amalgamate and the amalgamates are made up of several pre-existing characters/enemies, like Froggits and Whimsuns, but Everyman’s existence is never explained. So, I’ve been thinking about a possible theory, and no matter how many times I’ve been told to shut up I just can’t get it out of my head, so here it is:

Everyman is Berdly.

Okay, I know. Ridiculous, right? But hear me out. Berdly is never mentioned or shown in Undertale, and we don't know who the Everyman amalgamate is, so it wouldn’t be impossible. But if Everyman is Berdly, why is Everyman is Deltarune? Well, he isn’t REALLY in Deltarune. He’s an easter egg. A reference. And where those references are in Deltarune add even more evidence to this theory, so I'll go ahead and list them all.

1. Jevil’s carousel attack

2. Poppup’s pop-up attack

3. Queen’s “DRAMA” attack

4. Graffiti in the alleyway in Hometown

So, not a lot. And how is any of this evidence for Everyman being Berdly?

#1: jevil’s carousel attack. Everyman’s face replaces a duck’s face. Ducks are birds.

#2: Poppup’s pop-up attack. The Poppups are bird-like creatures.

#3: Queen’ DRAMA attack. Berdly is actually present during this one, though not conscious, and is associated with Queen as he spends half of the game trying to impress her???

#4: Graffiti in the alley of Hometown. This one is less cool, but Berdly lives in Hometown.

Also, Everyman’s face sorta looks like a bird. He’s literally described on the Deltarune Wiki as having “a long beak-like protuberance” so I don’t know. :/ let me know your thoughts

What is the group project that everyone has to do? They have to study in the librarby for it, and also it’s never specified what subject Alphys teaches. Most likely she teaches all of them because there are no other teachers anywhere. What do you think it is?

Currently usually the NPC in Del Delton Part 1 and Part 2, also from Undertel. She is the mother of Chris and Chris and is a graduate of 55 and 755 colleges. He lives with them in a reserved room north of Thousand Lives, as seen in the Undertaker, despite the usual outfits and jackets, colors and mirrors, there are many pictures of Delta Run, although there are still A space for expertise. He also has short hair on his head. Torrel's parents also grew up in Delaware, and she became SRL and Chris's mother while attending a local school. He was clean and old, and the phone at home; her hobbies were sweet, reading and sleeping. She also agreed to keep the songbook at home.

While Torrell loves Chris and treats him with respect and kindness, he doesn't care about Chris's lack of interest or concern for kindergarten. Maybe he didn't know that Chris was tortured when he tried to stay. Despite being a good mom, she's honest and seems to be waiting for Chris, terrified of getting a boyfriend she'll approach, so he doesn't reveal this and past mistakes. Shortly after noon, bombers attacked a police station. His case expanded Ashes' relationship, and while he avoided direct criticism from Chris and left himself to be judged freely, he let disgusting thoughts come to his face and refused to try to strike a deal.

The ones that bold are my favorite lines:3

The first chapter, titled "Introduction," begins with the player creating an object that is suddenly obsolete. Instead, they lived in an ark that they couldn't choose. A quiet man, he lives with his mother, Toriel, and attends a local school in his hometown. Senior Susie threatened to eat her face after being hired as a partner in a school project. They have to attend և to go to school lockers.

When they opened it, the couple suddenly realized they were in a dark world. There they meet Prince Ryerson, a dark-skinned prince who knows that all three are prophetic heroes who regain the balance of light and darkness. During their adventure, they meet a stupid man named Lancer. Susie feels she is inferior and she temporarily leaves Chris and Larsen to join Lancer. The friendship between Susie and Lancer helps her become more compassionate. Eventually, the entire cast joined the four cast. In the end, Lancer helped three of them kill their father, the King. Later, Chris and Susie use the spiritual power of Christ to spread the eastern origin and say goodbye to the dark world.

Chris and Susie return together to their world, appearing in dollhouses and conference rooms, representing the world of darkness and the characters they encounter. Chris and Susie agree to return to the Dark World the next day. Chris can leave school to study Twisdorp.

After Chris explored the city, he fell asleep. At midnight, Chris ran out of bed and had a hard time walking. They threw their souls into a cage and fell into a trap. Chris poked his hand and looked at the camera with a terrifying smile. The screen fills up for a few minutes before the loan is displayed.

How old is the Grand Fountain? Is it younger than the school? If so, who decided to put the Fountain there? If not, WHO DECIDED TO PUT A SCHOOL THERE?

I recently found a FNAF reference in the Hometown of Chapter 1. This can be seen when talking to Pizzapants about his Co-Workers. When you ask him this he will list off his co-workers, one of these is Purple Guy which he afterwards questions if he even works there. This is a reference because Purple Guy is a FNAF character and that game takes place at a pizzeria.

So I just remembered that crazy thing named Everyman and now I can’t get him out of my mind. I mean he’s litteraly every where.

It seems that Noelle's Mom has been mayor of Hometown for a long time and she has won every election. hmmm......

THERE IS A DICTATORSHIP IN HOMETOWN THAT WE MUST OVERTHROW!!

1. Gaster is probably alive

If there is no underground in the Light World, Gaster should probably be alive, as he never fell into his creation, and he's probably experimenting in the bunker (the noises you hear when you're near the bunker is the same as the sound you hear in Entry Number 17 when sped up by 666%). So, what's he experimenting on?

2. Ralsei can go into other Dark Worlds.

Ralsei can do so because his body is made from the Castle Town fountain. Ralsei said that the Castle Town is capable of supporting darkners from everywhere, which means that if Ralsei's body is made from the Castle Town fountain, Ralsei can technically go to every existing Dark World without turning into stone.

3. Deltarune may be a prequel to Undertale.

Maybe, Deltarune is actually connected to Undertale, and is not a sequel, but a prequel to Undertale. This may be the world where the monsters and humans live in peace (before the war), before the monsters were sealed underground (no Underground in DT), before Gaster died (Gaster is probably in the bunker), and before Chara (No Underground, no humans trying to commit die).

honestly dont really believe this one. first off, its known that asriel is currently at university. it would be pretty hard to fake going to uni lol. also if it was accidental that he went to the dark world, he would leave, right? its not like he had a bad life or anything, why would he want to leave his family and stay in the dark world where things obviously arent going great.

second, wouldnt kris recognize him? hes literally their brother. susie, noelle, and berdly wouldve recognized him too.

third, WHY WOULD IT BE HINTED AT THAT RALSEI HAS A CRUSH ON YOU IF HE WAS KRIS’ BROTHER?? ralsei would recognize kris if he was asriel and know they are his sibling.

im gonna safely debunk this theory for now.

2.) ralsei isnt asriel but is a lightner

this one i mostly believe in. why is it that ralsei doesnt turn to stone like the rest of the darkners when they arrive in a new dark world? how did he get to cyber world in the first place? i mean card kingdom and cyber world arent connected in any way besides their entrances being in the same town in the overworld. either hes a lightener or were missing some plot details thatll be revealed later

my personal favorite and the one i believe in most. get ready folks this ones gonna be long

this theory isnt as well known as the others, so ill try to be simple with my explanation. talking to toriel postgame in chapter 1 reveals that kris owned a red headband with horns on it, and that kris lost it one day and theyd never seen it again.

sound familiar? heres where the theory part comes in. somehow, someway, that red headband ended up in the dark world and turned into ralsei. assuming ralsei is the same species as the dreemurrs, hes the only one with reddish horns, so it cant be a species thing (unless they are different species, which is unlikely. theyre both goats) and why was it so suddenly lost? toriels house is not very large, and her and kris seem to keep the place clean, surely if it meant that much to kris they wouldve found it already.

one thing that may potentially debunk this theory is items you take with you to the dark world stay items. kris’ pencil turns into a wooden sword with a carbon (graphite) center. HOWEVER, darkners turn into items when taken OUT of the dark world, so perhaps ralsei is the headband, but he isnt a lightener. makes you think………..
