Dark Worlds were only recently created when the Knight showed up and started making the Dark Fountains. Like, in Chapter 2, the Cyber World Dark Fountain was just created last night. So, the "history" of Dark Worlds has to be an illusion, right?

I think Kris doesn't actually want to seal the Dark Fountains. They want to keep adventuring through more Dark Worlds. That's why they rebel against the player's control at the end of Chapter 2 and open a new Dark Fountain.
So I've been confused for awhile regarding how Dark Worlds work exactly. Because it's shown multiple times that Darkners from places like the Cyber World existed before the Knight created their dark fountain and have histories with the Darkners of the Card Castle, or even the upcoming Dark World as seen with Spamton NEO and the Cathode Crew. But at the same time, the worlds don't take shape until a dark fountain is created, and they're destroyed once the dark fountain is sealed. So did their worlds exist before the Dark Fountain was created or not? I don't get it.
In Chapter 7, we'll have to seal the fountain in Castle Town. Kris won't want us to, and they'll fight back. We have to defeat Kris to finish the game.
People who are saying that ralsei shouldn't know where the abandoned classroom is. but if you recall you spent an entire day in the dark world to the EAST of the castle town.
ralsei can survive in the other dark worlds because of the same reasons other darkners can stay in castle tow because ralsei says that "the dark fountain in castle town is made of pure darkness" and ralsei also says that " darkners are made of the dark fountain from there home dark world" so that means that ralsei is made of pure darkness therefore he can survive in any dark world
Okay so I beat the heck out of every Darkner that stood in my path for both chapters, and when I stood in front of the Dark Fountain in the Cyber’s World it didn’t change color, it just stayed red. This was a
no-recruit non-snowgrave route. Has this happened to anyone else?
There’s been a lot of deep discussion about the SOUL on this wiki as of late. Specifically, the Red SOUL. Originally, everyone was happy and content with the idea that we were the Red SOUL, but now nobody’s sure about the truth about anything. So, here’s my theory.
The SOUL and body aren’t the only parts of a complete being.
Let me explain. Many things said by characters imply that the SOUL isn’t just us. It is referred to like a container by Ralsei (“Within, it holds your WILL, your COMPASSION…”) and like a power by Spamton (“I JUST NEED THAT LITTLE S O U L YOU HAVE). But it’s never referred to as us. It’s referred to as ours. This means that either we are the body (nope) or we are something else. Thus, the Triple-Part Being Theory (in your face Descartes and the entire philosophical concept of dualism). The body is the physical center of a being, and how it affects everything around it. The consciousness is the being’s personality and identity, and its mental center. The SOUL is the go-between: it dwells in the physical world, but isn’t mental or physical. It’s the emotional center of the being, and the bridge from mind to body. And Determination is a force that is created by the mind’s attachment to the physical world, binding it to certain places in time and space. With enough Determination, a mind could theoretically control a body without a SOUL.
This theory solves most of the major problems, namely how the SOUL is Kris’s and ours: both our consciousnesses are inside one SOUL (or maybe more, if there really is a third entity inside Kris’s already over inhabited body). But what about Darkners? They seem to have no SOUL, but are still alive. Also, they have no Determination, as said by Queen. The answer: their consciousnesses are only in their Dark World form. The Dark World is a nonphysical place, which is why the Lightners “wake up” when the Dark Fountain vanishes. And Dark Fountains are like pathways between the physical and nonphysical, which makes sense because of the Determination. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
OK SO
Everyone is aware characters from different fountains know eachother, right?
Seam and Queen:
King and Queen:
Spamton and Jevil:
And Jevil knows Queen but I'm tired of getting photos.
But how? Literally how would they know each other?
Well, what if, the fountains existed, but broke apart when the angel was born?
They could of shattered apart, and that's where the shadow crystals came from. So, the fountains all existed perfectly, but one day, they shattered apart, and shadow crystals were put all around the dark world! But, I can't really make theories, so I don't have much to back this up.
How do you guys think the darkners know each other?
Flowey is a Darkner.
Now, before you throw my in some kind of mental institution, hear me out.
I was thinking about this earlier. Alphys's entries in the True Lab about making Flowey have this statement, "What happens when a being with no SOUL gains the will to live?" River Person also implies that Flowey is neither a monster, nor a human. What, then, could Flowey possibly be? After all, we only have one example of his species.
Or do we?
See, Flowey came to life when he was filled with DETERMINATION. Now, I asked myself, where else have we seen inanimate objects come to life by the power of DETERMINATION?
When a Dark Fountain is created, as Queen states, it is created with the power of DETERMINATION. Then, the inanimate objects (Jack of Spades, Rules Card) come to life, but they are neither monster, nor human. They are Darkners.
Therefore, I believe that Flowey is a self-sustained version of a Darkner. This could actually explain a lot about him, like his knowlege of game mechanics, like HP, LV, SAVEing, etc. Many other Darkners are aware of these (Ralsei, Susie Master, Spamton), but the Lighters seem oblivious (Susie is very confused when Ralsei mentions pressing [Z]). I think the only other monster to be aware of these things is Sans, but he's a special case.
So, getting straight to the point, during the intro sequence where you create a vessel which will eventually be discarded, a voice speaks to you with no letter-noise, all-caps, with some spaces between the letters, and the glowing luminescence surrounding the font.
Some people think this is The Knight for various reasons. I do feel like anyone is allowed to have their own opinion, but I am expressing my own here through a theory :
When you LOSE in Deltarune, an entity speaks with the same font characteristics as the speaker in the Another-Him sequence, and asks if the Player is willing to persist further.
Hear me out in here, if the speaker was in fact, The Knight, then why would they want the Player to persist if they are willing to bring The Roaring?
Some may contradict this by saying the Knight is Kris, and that they are the one who wants the player to persist, but I disagree with the theory of Kris being The Knight, because as Queen states in Chapter 2, any lightner with enough determination is able to create a dark fountain, Kris only used this information to their advantage so that they can go on more adventures with the gang to cope with being isolated from their brother, Asriel.
That's my theory, at least. Would love to hear your thoughts.
How old is the Grand Fountain? Is it younger than the school? If so, who decided to put the Fountain there? If not, WHO DECIDED TO PUT A SCHOOL THERE?
Many of you are kinda confused with this, so I guess i'll talk about it again.
Basically, Castle Town's Dark Fountain is the true Dark Fountain, the fountain that can sustain all Darkners. This is why people like Queen, Lancer, and King can all survive there, and doesn't turn into stone. Now, Ralsei came from Castle Town's Dark Fountain, he was made from it. He is a prince from the dark. Since Castle Town's fountain can sustain all Darkners, it makes sense that Ralsei can go to all Dark Worlds and not turn into stone because he was made from Castle Town's Dark Fountain.
Also, Castle town is not a part of Card Kingdom. Card Kingdom is a seperate Dark World.
When Kris creates the Dark Fountain at the end of chp. 2 it cuts between Kris opening the door and turning on the tv and stuff. But for the final cut, Kris is standing over Susie, for no apparent reason. Susie wasn't even in between the tv and the center of the room, so why would Kris open the door, turn on the tv, walk up to Susie (at the other end of the room) and then walk back to the center to make the Dark Fountain. My guess is that Kris did something to Susie before creating the fountain as preperation, such as the opening of the door and turning on of the tv. Thoughts?
Here's a small theory, but it solves a widely discussed problem so I'm not sure how well this will be taken. The short version is: The Dark World is all connected.
The longer version is: I think that the Dark World is always active, and is ALWAYS here, yet can only be highlighted by a Dark Fountain. By highlighted, I mean that Lightners can visit/see it.
The main supporting evidence for it is that the Darkners have a history. While it is plausible that they just appear with that history active, it would make sense if all the Dark Worlds were inter-connected, yet nobody really leaves all that often to go to another one because of the whole 'turning to stone' thing. However, the more powerful the Darkner, the longer it takes for them to turn to stone, so a few can cross for relations to continue, notably King/Queen.
This is also hinted by how, by going through the Great Door in Chapter 1 you cross over to another Fountain's territory, from Ralsei's Pure Fountain, to Chaos King's Fountain. There wasn't exactly a specific cutscene or anything... you just walked. Since the Great Door is actually just the side door (seen in the Unused Classroom), as soon as you cross it, bam. New Dark World, with no obvious 'teleportation' effect or anything.
This is also the best explanation for Ralsei travelling between Dark Worlds. Since he's immune to turning to stone (different theory, but he's immune, let's leave it at that) he can cross between them with no consequences. Also, Ralsei said he 'felt' danger and hurried over, and a side theory of mine is that Lightners are so powerful, that Darkners can FEEL when they enter, especially Ralsei, but that's not the point.
The point is that right as you (Kris and Susie) left Castle Town, Ralsei felt Noelle's distress and hurried over, as fast as he could. Mind you, you and Susie: Went to the library, discovered the Fountain, hopped in, slid down multiple cliffs, did the Electrical Plug obstacle, talked with Queen, fought Werewires, and after ALL that only THEN did Ralsei show up.
So the main point/TL;DR of the theory is that Ralsei can travel between Dark Worlds because they're all connected, yet this connectivity is not visible to Lightners, and even though they're all connected it still takes time for him to travel.
Love to see what you guys would think!

Ralsei is called "Prince from the Dark" for a reason, and it's probably because his body is made from the darkness that is the Castle Town fountain. Ralsei said that the Castle Town fountain can support every Darkner from every Dark World, which technically means that Ralsei's body is able to go to every Dark World without turning to stone because of the fact that his body is made from the Castle Town fountain.
I'm a bit confused as to how dark worlds work, as it seems as though they (and all their inhabitants) are created upon the opening of a Dark Fountain, but certain characters (I'm especially thinking of the bonus bosses) have defined backstories that strongly influence their present existence. Are these just false memories or am I confused as to how dark worlds work?
Ok so like
My friend thought about this, what if kris being evil n stuffs is from their soul being exposed to the dark fountains?
All i have
